Roseanne Roseanna Danna always said it's always something.
You will have to get to the end to figure out the "Laugh In" reference. We had 2-3 foot seas predicted and after 3 days of running inside with shallow waters, lots of boats and slow no wake zones we were ready to get out on the ocean and let the Volvo's breathe. Had a nice run and would have fished but we realized we didn't have South Carolina licenses. Beautiful day and we cruised past Fort Sumpter about 11:30.
Fort Sumpter guarding the entrance to Charleston Harbor - where the first shots of the Civil War were fired.
Service guy used what information and pictures I had along with a handful of other diagnostics to confirm - electrical - likely mother board issue. Of greater concern are the deep and nearly circumferential cracks if the bellows of our dripless seals for the cutlass bearings - potential to sink the boat if they fail and they look close to failure now. It's always something on a boat!
Took this photo of the beautiful old houses lining the Ashley River on our way in - figured mom would have enjoyed seeing them. We are now working on a plan to haul out again and get the repair we need before sinking which doesn't sound like fun. Enjoy every day!
