On the move again. Generator still not fixed but we ordered parts for delivery 200 miles North so we are chasing them down and I will install and try and adjust the voltage regulator on the fly.

We spent 6 days on the T-head at the Wando river - boats come by like it is a race track most of the day but by sunset it quiets down. We didn't get the generator functioning but we have a plan for the captain and chief mechanic to replace the resistor that was fried so hopefully that will get the Benny back online - parts should get to Wrightsville NC about the time we do. We have had off and on issues with the radar but now it's just off - inconvenience unless we get fog then it's an issue - hopefully professional help in Norfolk, VA.

No one slows down for the Wando river boat yard.

Our home the last 6 nights.

A lot of these little cuts have docks and boats way back in that can only move during high tide - otherwise they are high and dry!

These cable stay bridges are beautiful and impressive structures.

Very curvy section of the AICW today through giant swamps.

Every now and then you see a cabin of bog people literally in the middle of nowhere.

We counted at least 7 working backhoes on a 5 mile bog - looking like they are going to build a canal system and build houses.

This wasn't a floating bridge it was a ferry that powered itself into position across the AICW and let cars drive across.

The Miss Ellie was the ferry.

We are at the end of Sportfisher row at Georgetown Landing tonight AICW 403 and counting down.

Nose to nose with a nice Viking.

This is a heck of a way to get it, but by time you get back you’ll qualify for any of the marine maintenance positions on the lake.
Crackerjack has been officially donated to Mi Tec and left the dock Friday.
All else good here. Be safe, forge ahead!
