Our relaxing day in Wrightsville at Seapath Yacht Club turned into 4 hours in the engine room.

Heading into the rising sun makes vision for crab pots and shoals challenging.

Lined with docks and boat lifts but maybe only 30 % have boats on them - summer heat or hurricane season???

Old vs new resistor.

Ditto

Ditto.

I got the new resistor installed and the gennygator fired up and ran smooth but the output at the geneset and the outlets in the boat was 172+ volts and I couldn't regulate it down. An hour with the company that makes it said - bad voltage regulator so I removed the new voltage regulator we installed in Charleston and sent it back. Now we'll chase parts up the Atlantic again. Off to Morehead City tomorrow.
