Even with the starboard impeller housing leaking we felt it was OK to make the jump to St Joe where there is more marine maintenance options. I figured it would only drain the water from the jackets above the impeller and it wasn't leaking while running; only upon shut down - this turned out to be the case - engine stayed cool and just the small amount of water in the bilge. Thanks Don Aslesen for the consultation. Got some exercise going to and from the service marina twice - nice that they were fully open on Labor Day and they had an OEM impeller kit. Not looking forward to wedging back into that hole but we have to get this issue fixed. 2 windy days coming up so time to get this behind us and maybe connect with Jim Bonetti.

Looked pretty rough coming out of South Haven this morning - 4 foot trailing seas all the way to St Joe. We chose a nice leisurely 11-12 mph and it went smoothly.

South Haven nuke was running nicely.

Different angle view of the nuke and it's cooling system.

Pretty rough at the St Joe harbor lighthouse but West Basin Marina was calm with just a wisp of breeze. Another 5 star marina and laundry is even free, nice gas grill for the pork loin tonight and good dog walking. Enjoy every day!
