Yesterday was supposed to be a quiet day enjoying South Haven but I had noticed some water for a few days on the starboard side - thought it was just from waves splashing in. Decided to further investigate - leaking around the impeller housing. Remove the floor squeeze into a spot too small to fit and then take off the housing bolts blind without dropping them into the floor of the boat. Long day. Found no O-ring - certain we put one in and no leak until now. No new O-ring , replace with old flattened O-ring. Still a slow leak. St Joe is 25 miles down lake but a decent service center - likely there today. We have enjoyed South Haven and the super hosts Dave Kraker and Jodie Rowland sharing their beautiful home with us but time to move and need to get a finger in this dike.

The Skipper wedged into the space available - super pain in the neck.

Margarita's with Dave, Jodie and Barb last night in South Haven.
We have to move the couch and remove the floor to get at the starboard impeller.

Still able to enjoy a great sunset last night.

Dr Dave got this photo from his pontoon on our way into the harbor.

Another from Dave.

We start every morning assessing wind, waves, weather.

Sunset started  out nice.

Toasting friends and enjoying God's paintbrush.

Sunset finished strong.
