Getting close to being on the move again.

Our rented minivan was fully packed.

Storm doesn't look excited to be heading to the boat but he really is.

There were a lot of these small trees with tiny purple blossoms but no leaves yet.

Many fields of these yellow flowers and also many with purple that I couldn't get a decent picture of.

New exhaust hoods are on - hope they function properly.

Old non-functioning zinc's coming off.

New zinc's going on.

Lots of corrosion under the old zinc's.

Cleaning /grinding back to clear metal.

The river has fallen over 6 feet and continues to drop so we should get in the water this week.

Lumber prices are so high the lumber yard has razor wire around it and privacy fence to make it harder to see the material.

Rooster days in Demopolis yesterday - celebrating the 1919 rooster auction to raise funds for building a bridge across the river. We went to the Saturday evening Happy Hour at the marina and met several very nice folks who are living on their boats in the yard by us doing repairs and maintenance on their boats. They were very surprised when we said were were planning to head down river this week. Apparently the yard here is like the Hotel California - you can check out anytime you like but you can never leave. Enjoy every day!
