80 and sunny this afternoon so we spent some time by the pool.

Quiet day of rest.

Working on our selfie technique - no one else by the pool.

Water was just right if you're used to the Big Pond.

Fresh fish and fine wine for dinner. Looks like we will be here through the weekend.

Productive day yesterday - lots of dog walks and the water level in the marina is down 2+ feet. Mechanic came by about 6:15 PM and diagnosed a bad battery causing our generator to not start - ran it 25 minutes - no diesel leak and no diesel in the bilge so we are writing it off as an overfill at the fuel dock. Got some cleaning down and checking connections under the bridge - none seemed loose but by the Grace of God the radar now powers up and is functioning well! We will retrovision today, talk with Fred at the marina office and then plan our departure to the Gulf.
Enjoy every day!

The margarita's were large at the local Mexican restaurant.

Flow over the dam loud , fast and a crazy amount of drift mixed in.

We are rigged and ready for big fish when we get to the Gulf.

Down riggers set and ready

I think I am going to stop trying to add video - the water flow and sound at the dam was impressive!

Beautiful glass, organ and sanctuary at the local Methodist church.

George Kemp to Grand Marais and then on to Marquette.

Looking like we'll be in Demopolis for another week.
