We had planned to be in the Gulf of Mexico by April 1 but with the flooding and then Lez's foot infection and now flooding again God's plan is for us to be here in a nice safe clean marina with resources available to deal with some maintenance issues we didn't know we had. Now looking like maybe the middle of next week before we head down river.

The pool looks nice and the crew here puts a lots of effort into keeping things looking good.

The river is high and rising with a lots of moderate to large logs floating down.

A bunch of vultures greeted Storm and I on our morning walk.

We got the Traxstech mounted and are set for down riggers and trolling when we get to the gulf.

Steaks on the grill, fine wine and each other!

The water in the marina is now at/near the top of the sea wall.

Shower sump wasn't working and is next to impossible to remove but we were able to clean it out - likely the first time since the boat was built in 2004 - nasty but done and now functioning nicely. Still battling the AC a bit and we noticed some diesel in the bilge - cleaned that out yesterday and none overnight. Ran the mains and zero leakage anywhere. Tried the generator but its starter wouldn't engage - tomorrows project with mechanic Matt.

Turles enjoying the first sunny day in the last 5 days.

Marina at full pool looks good and is good as long as the water doesn't rise anymore. Enjoy every day!
