Fort Walton Beach

No wifi the past 4+ days so we will try and remember enough through he photos to update  our progress. We left Dog River with 1 foot waves on Mobile Bay but the wind and waves built all day and brought us down to 8 mph with a lot of bounce and spray. Crab potts and waves kept us busy all day. Smooth once we got to the intercostal waterway. Fishing with Captain Mike Lundgren was a great day. Near constant action, the dolphin would show up and pick off our fish on the way to the boat - you knew when you had flipper on the line - incredible pull and stripping out line until they broke free which never took long.

Lots of people hiring their own dredging.

Martin and Jan are up off the water in Orange Beach.

Fun evening with friends.

Florabama is party central. Live music 365 days/year on multiple stages.

Bumper to bumper boats for the music, food, party

The boats hang 3-4 300-400 hp outboards off the back.

Beautiful sunrises from our dock in Florabama thanks to Kaley and Pork Chop.

Sunsets were great too!

Heading out to fish with Mike Lundgren.

Dual triggers for Lez.

One of 5 big red snapper.

About 30#.

Main stage in the South Bar.

This one had 4 400 Verado's on the back - 75 mph!

Looking back at Florabama on the way out.

Ono Island is across from Florabama and is the high rent district.

Interesting architecture.

Beautiful calm morning leaving Florabama Monday AM.

The bars and hook around Rabbit island were tight.

Quite a few parasailed's.

Check out the depths close to the channel markers - don't dose off.

Very white sand.

Another 1600 hp 40 foot cruiser.

Ft Walton Beach marina.

First sunset here 5/2/22. Enjoy every day!
