Once the decision was made to haul out and have repairs done we rented a car and headed North for the Fourth. Pulled into Chanhassen on 6/30 and drove to Ashland 7/1 for a very quick turn around to play in the annual Memorial Golf Tournament. Walked by the marina to see if I could surprise anyone but no one around. We had a beautiful day for golf on 7/2 and headed home on 7/3 after visiting with a few friends and family.

We toured the Yorktown CV 10 museum in Charleston - along with the Liffey it is well worth a half day to wander around. Amazing amount of wattage on those ships.

Yorktown as viewed from the Liffey.

Lots of history between these 2 vessels.

Depth charges.

The Mega dock at the Charleston City Marina is 1530 feet long and 20 feet wide - concrete floating dock.

Small island Fort at the mouth of the Cooper River

Yorktown from the Ark as we cruised by on our way to the Wando River boat yard for repairs.

Memorial Golf crew - fun day.

Collins with a classic wig.

Parade crew in Chanhassen - hot day.

Planes of fame fly-over. I plan to call the repair office tomorrow and see if we have a firm repair schedule. Enjoy every day!
