Beach Haven to New York City. A little over 100 miles beautiful calm day with no gremlins!

We got up early but slight fog and heavy current kept us on the dock until the dockhand arrived at 7:00. We left at low tide but got out of little egg inlet just fine.
Highlight of the day .

Left the helm and floated in idle long enough to get a few photos.

Last nights sunset from the marina was great!

It kept getting better as it dropped below the horizon.

Ditto

Sunrise on our dog walk wasn't bad either.

Island house across from the marina.

Low tide had lots of visible shoals.

Waves breaking over the shoal near the exit point of the inlet.

Sunrise looking back at Atlantic City.

Gorgeous day for a cruise.

Over 50 boats fishing this area as we went by.

Crazy number of marinas lining the intercoastal.

Massive green algae bloom coming into NY harbor.

James Bond entry to New York.

Kept getting calmer as we headed into the Apple.

Lots of little downtown areas with big buildings.

Narrows bridge 2 layers of traffic in both directions

Statten Island ferry

Looping Liberty!

We were joined by Adam King for dinner - fun catching up.

Nebo said a bit over 101 miles in about 6 hours. Last day in the ocean and salt water! Heading up the Hudson River tomorrow.
