Erie yacht club was a really nice marina - pride of ownership was very evident! Thursday was 104 miles on Lake Erie from Erie to Cleveland but a smooth ride on the Ark and both Volvo's plus the Gennygator purring along. Friday we crossed Lake Erie to Detroit - 112 miles of smooth running.

Cleveland harbor has some very strange shaped concrete rip rap - looks like 1000 pound jacks - the kids kind you step on in the morning.

Looking for the entrance to our marina we got a safety check from the Coast Guard. Very pleasant, respectful and efficient young men - good to have them around but startling when they pull up behind you with the lights on.
