Motown to Lexington. Lake Sinclair and the Sinclair River today plus the first 18 miles of Lake Huron.

We stayed at a very old marina in Detroit where they built 90 foot boats for the Navy in WWII. Safe but definitely in need of serious upgrades.
Beautiful sunrise from our morning dog walk.

Our slip for the night.

Sunrise over the river heading to Lake Sinclair.

Barge coming at us  - see the pilot house of the tug.

Hydraulic pilot house so they can get elevated enough to see over the barge.

St Clair river was lined mostly by cabins and boat houses with a few mansions sprinkled in.

Giant power plant along the river.

Bridge at Sarnia.

Lake Huron was smooth today.

Nebo said 80 miles today. Tomorrow we hope to get to the top of the thumb.
