We decided to put on out July 4th celebration attire and cruise past Lady Liberty one more time. Another gremlin free day but we pushed into a 4 mph current heading North - busy until the George Washington bridge and then we mostly had the Hudson to ourselves.

Awe inspiring location, we are truly blessed to be in this great country.

Hot today, captains usual attire.

I think this is a repeat but I just really liked the sunset that night in Beach Haven!

Liberty Landing was a nice marina with great dog walk area - 500 slips on 19 docks so always a short walk to shore for Storm.

Ladies of Liberty!

Ellis Island

Ferries running everywhere and some of them quite fast.

Empire State building is dwarfed by its neighbors.

The rock cliffs along the Jersey side are multiple times prettier than the New York side.

A fair number of garbage barges running up and down the Hudson.

Tappan Zee at Tarrytown - huge bridge that brother Fred worked on.

Short run today

We are out far left of photo - Halfmoon Bay Marina, Croton, NY. Off to Poughkeepsie tomorrow then Troy.
