Very slow wifi has made for another 2 day blog with lots of photos. Smith Point to Delaware City and then today into Cape May NJ.

Bay Bridge marina was very nice and very big. Floating docks and great easy dog walking.

The Bay Bridge is huge.

We got passed by the guy who is looping on a jet ski. Compared to his ride the Ark is luxurious !

Chesapeake - Delaware canal is wide, deep and not lined with houses and docks so we could run on plane most of the way.

44 feet deep and 20+ mph at 1800 - very nice. No gremlins again.

Many of the rail road bridges are up and out of the way and only come down when a train needs to cross.

Delaware City nuke.

Nice canal with floating dock in Delaware City.

We tried fishing for spanish mackerel but no luck. Windy and 4 foot waves for the first 3+ hours and then back to calm.

We have been dodging crab pots again - these floats were ones taken off boat prop shafts at this marina.

Foggy coming out of Delaware City and a huge dredge operation along with huge container ships looming out of the fog.

Big dredge.

Lots of light houses in Chesapeake and Delaware Bay.

Many different designs.

Cape May light house.

The beach was crowded at Cape May coming in - we had been in the fog and drizzle for 60 miles and it cleared just as we got to Cape May.

Osprey occupy a large number of the day markers.

Tied to the dock in time to relax by a very nice pool - no one else at the pool.

Right off the end of our dock.

Narrow fairway - 48-50 feet between the other side and the pilings - by the Grace of God the wind was low and we spun 46 feet around and into our slip.

75-80 % of the boats here are sport fishers - many with 4 level tuna towers.

Nebo for today.

Really nice entry guard statues at Canyon Club - beautiful facility! Off to Beach Haven tomorrow which is just North of Atlantic City, we plan to run outside tomorrow.
